Here’s a little reminder that Father’s Day is just around the corner (June 20th), and this surprise portrait gift session might just give you a great idea if you’re stumped for a personal and long-lasting gift for Dad. We had an unusually summery day in May (high of 90 degrees!) but you wouldn’t know it from the sweet smiles on their faces. Mom helped to rally the troops, in pure Super-mom fashion…
These two very funny and very smart young brothers were kind enough to show me around their backyard, and before you knew it, we were off!
And Mom, I’m happy to say I did capture some unguarded smiles in between all the serious hijinks!!!
It’s always nice when I can get Mom in the portraits, too–it wouldn’t be the perfect gift for Dad without her! I want to thank you all–Mom, J. and N. for a really super session. And thanks for the breaks in the cool air and for hanging in there when it got a little too darn hot. I’m hoping Dad will have a nice surprise when he opens his gift.
